How to edit your profile
Your profile lets friends and neighbors recognize you. You can update it anytime.
What you can edit
- Display name — The name others see when you post or message.
- Profile photo — A picture that appears next to your posts and in search results (for people you’re connected with).
- Bio or short description (if available) — A few lines about yourself.
How to edit
- Open your profile — Click your avatar or name (usually in the top bar or sidebar).
- Go to profile or account settings — Look for Edit profile, Settings, or a pencil icon.
- Change the fields you want (name, photo, bio).
- Save — Click Save or Update so your changes are applied.
Who can see my profile?
On TimeFotos, your personal profile and timeline are private by default. They’re visible only to people you’ve connected with (friends/family). The public part of the platform is your city hub — marketplace, businesses, events — which anyone in your city can browse. Your profile visibility is controlled in your privacy or account settings if those options are available.
Profile photo tips
- Use a clear, recognizable photo so people you know can identify you.
- Avoid images that include sensitive personal information (e.g. ID cards, full address).
