What We Do
Structure Canvas is a free tool for creating floor plans, site plans, plot plans, and property drawings online. You can upload a survey PDF or aerial image, calibrate the scale to real-world dimensions, draw walls, openings, dimensions, and shapes to scale, and export your work as DXF, PNG, or PDF. No account or sign-up is required — everything runs in your browser.
Who It's For
The tool is designed for homeowners, landscapers, contractors, and anyone who needs a simple site plan for planning, permits, or presentations. Use it for backyard layouts, patio design, lot plans, or to illustrate property features. It is not a replacement for professional surveying or engineering when those are required by law or for critical accuracy.
How It Works
You start by uploading a background image (e.g., a survey or satellite view), then set the scale by marking two points and entering the real-world distance. From there you draw rectangles, lines, circles, arcs, and polygons, add dimensions and labels, and organize your work on layers. Your project can be saved to your device as a file and reopened later. All drawing data stays in your browser or on your device unless you choose to save or export it.
