How to choose or change your city
Your city on TimeFotos determines what you see in your local hub: marketplace listings, businesses, and events are all scoped to the city you choose.
When you sign up
During signup you’ll be asked to select your city (or the city nearest to you). Pick the area where you live or where you want to browse local content.
Changing your city later
- Open your profile or account settings (usually via your avatar or menu).
- Find Location or City.
- Select a new city from the list and save.
Your feed and city hub will then show content for the new city. You can change it again anytime.
What if my city isn’t listed?
TimeFotos adds cities over time. If yours isn’t available yet:
- Choose the closest city so you still see nearby listings and events.
- You can suggest a city by contacting support — see How to contact support.
Does my city affect my privacy?
Your city choice is used only to show you relevant local content. Your private feed and profile visibility are controlled by your privacy settings and who you connect with, not by your city setting.
