Drawing Tools

The left tool palette: Select, Hand (pan), Line, Square, Circle, Arc, Text, and Divide. Shapes are stored in feet and show live measurements when selected.

Select and Hand

Select: click shapes, drag to move, use handles to resize. Marquee on empty space to select multiple; Shift+click to add or remove. Hand: pan the view. You can also hold Space and drag or use right-mouse drag to pan.

Line and Square

Line: click to add points; double-click or Enter to finish; click near first point to close a polygon. Square: drag to draw a rectangle (stored as 4-point polygon). Segment lengths show in feet and inches.

Circle, Arc, Text, Divide

Circle: click center, drag radius. Arc: center, start, end. Text: click to place and edit; optional callout. Divide: click a polygon edge to add a vertex. See Use Cases for workflows.

Shortcuts

Ctrl/Cmd+Z Undo, Ctrl/Cmd+Shift+Z or Y Redo, Delete to delete, Ctrl/Cmd+D Duplicate, Ctrl/Cmd+A Select all, Escape to clear selection, Arrow keys to nudge.
